It feels like a farmer's garden, which doesn't feel very tasteful. Next to the zoo, only locals know it, but I personally felt that it was not a place to visit.
This garden is right next to Asahiyama Zoo, which is familiar as a tourist destination, and you can see it from the back of the reindeer house from inside the zoo. If you are not good at making noise because the silence of the world is spreading apart from the hustle and bustle of the zoo, I think there is a choice to spend a relaxing time here.
I went there in late August. It is a garden managed by Asahikawa City since 2012, and even though it is a garden that retains nature as it is, it is different from the magnificent gardens in Honshu. The admission fee is 300 yen, which is adjacent to Asahiyama Zoo, and you can enter it from the zoo with a set ticket. To go only to the garden, please ask the staff near the front entrance of Asahiyama Zoo. If you are navigating, you can't go because you will guide you to enter from inside the zoo.
