There are many bench seats and plenty of grass, but on a cold Saturday afternoon the place was deserted. Some of the play equipment seemed dismantled for Winter. The Kita Sita Gardens are just two blo...
I'm sorry for the slightly different impression because I'm a graduate of this elementary school, but first of all, the building of Nisshin Elementary School itself was a valuable modern historic site made of total marble and survived the war. There were many bullet marks on the roof where the roof was located. In addition to the building, there should have been quite old German broadcasting equipment. I'm glad that the park is now familiar to the citizens, but I'm full of regrets about why I couldn't make use of the building to make it into a museum. ... in the ground
I came nearby while walking around Asahikawa. Clover was in full bloom in the park like a carpet. It seems to be a school site, but now it is an area of relaxation for citizens.
I was on my way from Asahikawa Station to Takasago Shuzo.

After checking in at a hotel near Asahikawa Station, the park on the way to Takasago Sake Brewery on the east side of the station is Nisshin no Mori. It seems that it is a park with the site of the elementary school, and there were playsets, benches, fountains, etc. It was close to the station, but it was a large and relatively quiet place.
This is the park where the former 々 was built as the site of an elementary school, and there is no particular attraction from the tourist point of view. However, in the atmosphere that blends into everyday life, it is a place of relaxation for the neighboring Asahikawa citizens, and I often see people who enjoy walking dogs and jogging. Depending on the hotel you will stay in, it is located very close, so it is also a recommended spot for morning walks when staying.
