It’s a great place to visit in a summer afternoon. We reached around 2pm and most of the school kids were preparing to leave, so we pretty much had the zoo to ourselves. The zoo is very big and well organized, and the map is very helpful in helping us navigate around. Loved the free roaming wallabies. Penguins, tiger and lions are the ones that one must check out!
A huge variety of animals to see here. Whipsnade is not just a zoo but a huge animal conservation Center so you do not need to feel bad for the animals either.

we elected to pay extra to take our car In the zoo which with a small child with us was a great help ,we left our picknick in the car and was able to find a great place with a view near to parking it helped us that we could from place to place around the zoo without having to push pushchairs and carry our pick nick and we could drive through the deer and Africa location
