What travelers say:

But if we weren't so excited to follow the locals up the hill, we would have been mistaken for a place of "quiet days". As we climbed the slope, hand and foot, we saw the billowing Atlantic Ocean, the force of which was so great that it was able to hit the rocks and foamed the sea. I tried to tighten my clothes to keep them from being blown down by the sea breeze that roared through my cochlea, but it proved futile. The fresh rain still brings water, the shimmering golden sun and the blue water, and the stone-cuttered cotage and dike, a tranquil place. Locals take their children on foot, fishing, and jogging dogs to the beach.

    We want to retire here!

What a view, and such gorgeous atmosphere. Almost felt other-worldly. Great spot for fishing, canoeing, kayaking - even a swim.

    Worth the slight detour

A quaint little harbour, just off the main coastal road. Short walks available to see the rough seas pounding in. There was even a mobile artist shop to visit.
