Outstanding
Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen, the Great Buddha of Wat Paknam, is located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River in northern Bangkok, specifically in the Phasi Charoen district. The Buddha statue is entirely gilded, standing 69 meters tall, 40 meters wide, and weighing approximately 800 tons. It is cast in bronze and inlaid with 100 kilograms of gold, and contains 6 kilograms of pure gold and Buddha relics within its heart. The Buddha's right hand touches the ground in the mudra (gesture of compassion), while the left hand forms the meditation mudra, symbolizing compassion and peace. Next to it stands an 80-meter-high white pagoda, housing a five-story museum, with the top floor being a green glazed tile pagoda that houses precious artifacts such as jade Buddha statues. The temple is open all day and admission is free.

There are many temples in Bangkok, Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen Temple is one of them, it is very spectacular, both inside and outside. The exterior of the temple is peculiar, but the interior is resplendent and worth seeing.
