The zoo is a nice peaceful place where you can escape from a busy city. It is such a massive park and the animals are treated well. Throughout the park there’s see-through labs where you can see exactly what goes on behind the scenes. The enclosures were quite small and we didn’t actually see many of the animals. Lots of birds. But the animals looked happy. You will need about approx 3 to 4 hours to finish your way around the park, or if you’re going extra slow you will need couples of hours more. Its highly recommend place for a day out.

A very good zoo, we came here admiringly, it is said to be the earliest zoo in Europe, there is also a large amusement facility, children like to play very much, you can see rare animals like leopards inside.
When we went to the Arc de Triomphe, ~ We went to the Barcelona Zoo at the end and saw it ~ In the afternoon, there were not many people ~ You can go in by buying a ticket directly. ~ I feel that the garden is not big ~ Some tropical animals ~
We were able to do few things and had a wonderful day seeing the area. The place are clean, prompt and offer a nice commentary. I would highly recommend this tour!
Easily one of the most beautiful attractions in Barcelona that anyone should visit. Various animals that seems to be living in a very great conditions.
Barcelona Zoo, located in the historic Parc de la Ciutadella, is a cherished urban oasis that offers a glimpse into the animal kingdom. With a collection that spans from the local fauna to exotic species, the zoo provides an educational and engaging experience. It's particularly noted for its lush settings and the opportunity to learn about wildlife conservation efforts. The zoo's layout facilitates close encounters with animals, allowing visitors to appreciate the diversity of life housed within. However, the zoo is not without its criticisms. Some visitors feel that parts of it could benefit from updates and renovations to enhance the animal habitats and visitor facilities. Despite this, the zoo remains a popular attraction for families and animal lovers, offering a peaceful retreat from the bustling city life and a chance to connect with nature in the heart of Barcelona. Overall, it strikes a balance between entertainment and education, making it a worthwhile visit for those exploring Catalonia's capital²..
