The early entry allows more time to explore the halls and courtyards comfortably. The historical exhibits are impressive, well preserved, and informative. Highly recommended for a relaxed and meaningful visit.

If you want to take lots of photos, I suggest buying a 1.5-day pass. This trip was too rushed; we were so busy doing all the rides and taking pictures that we didn't have time to explore many of the great shops and restaurants nearby. My favorite rides were the Harry Potter area and the Transformers area.Karlos88Very well worth a visit BUT can be a pain in the butt to get tickets as they have low support for foreigners passports, English and need to use Wechat Mini Apps. Best and easiest way to get tickets as a foreigner is via Trip.com when they do tickets, sometimes they just point you to wechat mini app. In which case, not much you can do. There is a real crown in the basement which people line up to take photos of and was a crazy highlight of the visit. As well as artefacts from when New China was established. The signage and closure of many exhibits was a bit disappointing though, especially when you travelled far and wide. This is my experience from late Nov:Exhibit 2 is paid/non general exhibits Closed exhibits:1, 3, 4, 6, 10Open exhibits:7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19 Seems like No 5 and 10 don't exist?B1 is where all ancient china is, signage not that clear. Enter on ground, and go down escalators. This is where you'll find the crown at the end of the exhibit.Shin泡泡Antique buildings come into view. Strolling through them, pavilions and towers are scattered in a harmonious arrangement, their carved beams and painted rafters exquisitely beautiful. The mansion is shaded by lush trees, and the shimmering lake reflects the graceful silhouettes of the ancient buildings. Walking on the stone-paved paths feels like stepping back in time, experiencing the past glory and prosperity. This is not only a historical site but also a beautiful painting, making it a place one longs to return to.Daily happinessA very cosy and chilling park. Recommend to go in the morning to take a stroll and enjoy the different venues in the park other than the three hot spots. Breathtaking building architecture and worth visiting !蕾蕾点点点Guide Yu was fantastic! His explanations were detailed, humorous, and engaging, and he made historical stories incredibly interesting. The entire trip was meticulously planned; he answered all our questions, and the interactive experience was excellent. Even while climbing the Fragrant Buddha Pavilion, he reminded us to be careful. 老少皆宜（）Shichahai Scenic Area in Beijing is a free tourist attraction. It's located opposite the North Gate of Beihai Park; simply cross the street after exiting the North Gate of Beihai Park to reach Shichahai.
Shichahai used to be Beijing's outdoor swimming pool in the summer and an ice skating rink in the winter, as depicted in some TV dramas. The Shichahai Sports School is located nearby.
Shichahai Scenic Area offers many Beijing specialties, including several long-established restaurants where visitors can sample local delicacies.
