Mao'er Mountain is located in the middle of Fangshan Mountain, about 11 kilometers southeast of Fangshan City. At an altitude of 1307 meters, it is one of the main peaks of Xishan Mountain. The mountain is steep, and the mountain is extended north-eastward. There are two peaks at the top that are protruding like cat ears, so it is called.
Guilin Maoer Mountain is the highest peak of Wuling's four hundred miles Yuechengling Mountains. It is the first peak in South China. It is the "first mountain of mountains and seas".
