Show More ReviewsIt was a last-minute trip, mainly because it wasn't far by car! The weather was sunny and pleasant, and the shady spots were very cool. It had been so long since I'd hiked, I was almost exhausted! We started climbing at 11:30 am and didn't reach the summit until 4 pm. We hadn't even been to Guanyin Cave yet. My legs were really worn out. There weren't many signs on the mountain, and the forks in the path seemed to be barely marked. I just guessed where I was going based on the navigation. There's a temple on the mountain, and a large golden Buddha statue! The entrance fee wasn't expensive. We took the cable car down, which wasn't cheap at 80 yuan per person one way, but it lasted half an hour. We didn't get back down until 5 pm. Next time, I might take a different route.
