The Ruins of Gaixia

Under the underside, the present underside city, left the famous underside ancient battlefield site. "Under the underside site", the city was built according to the terrain, and the four corners were curved. Exploration shows that the foundation buried in the city is more complete, the structure is clearer, and the direction is clear. In addition to some parts of the west, the rest of the east, west, south and north are more straight. The length of the East, West, South and North Silu is about 410, 480, 280, 340 meters, with a total length of 1510 meters, the area of the city (excluding the city) is about 150,000 square meters, including the moat, and the area of the city is nearly 200,000 square meters. The direction is 350 degrees. The city is divided into four gates in the east, west, south and north. The original appearance of the four gates is not available. The outline of the city wall is clearly visible from the outside, and the shape of the pot bottom from the inside. The highest part of the city wall is more than 3 meters away from the farmland outside the city. The remains of the moat outside the city can be found. Although some have been flattened into arable land, most of them still exist.

The site of the underside is the base camp of Xiangyu and the hometown of Wenxian and the county of Wenxian during the decisive battle of Chu Han Dynasty in the late Qin Dynasty and early Han Dynasty. It is also known as Overlord City. It is a key cultural relics protection unit in the country. The beautiful and moving stories such as "embattled", "ten-faced ambush" and "overlord don't Ji" are widely circulated among the folks.

If you are interested in history or have a heroic complex with the overlord Xiangyu, you can come here and have a look. Traffic is inconvenient. Two long-distance buses must be reversed from Bengbu unless there is a special bus. It's so easy to get here that you can only see the sculpture at the entrance of the village. The two signs in the village are marked with the ruins of Yixia. The rest are wheat fields, nothing can be seen, only here to honour this sad hero.

Located in the east of Lingbi County, 15 miles, Su (county) Si (county) highway south side. The decisive battle between the Chu and Han armies was here, and Liu Bang lost Xiangyu, forcing Xiangyu to perform the historical tragedy of "Farewell My Concubine" and self-cutting Wujiang River. Nowadays, it is very difficult to find traces of the war, but there are still many legends and memorial buildings.

Located in Haocheng Town, Guzhen County, the site of Yixia Site is located in my hometown. The scenery is pleasant and worth visiting. The only thing is the lack of interesting, mainly because the image of the overlord is more powerful, people who have not been can go to see it.
