The square was nice and there were interesting buildings surrounding it. Lots of people, nice atmosphere to take a walk. Also very save and friendly people.
This controversial statue was replaced by the current Aikol Manas monument
This statue no longer appears in Ala-Too square. Erkindik was a statue of a winged female figure representing Kyrgyzstan freedom. It was installed in Ala-Too square in 2003, replacing a statue of ...
