No decent view of the stage from the stalls.

Car park is really expensive £3.30 per hour and parking spaces very narrow. The seats in the theatre are very closely packed and you cannot see all the stage from the stalls due to the people in front are too close.

    Enjoyable evening

We love the Pavilion Theatre, although it is almost a year since we last visited. The most noticeable thing is the seats have become very worn and hard and are now very uncomfortable. For reasons best know to them 10cc decided to perform for two hours without the normal interval which made sitting for this length of time very uncomfortable. The show was OK but not as good as previous times we have seen them, quite why they thought we needed to see some singer called Paul Channing for half an hour is a mystery. He would be fine for the back bar of the local pub, but someone singing depressing songs with an acoustic guitar and no backing was not appropriate for this type of concert. 10CC were superb for the last half an hour when they performed their hits, but the early part was dreadful and we considered leaving. Look forward to our next visit in September to the Pavilion, perhaps the seats may have improved by then.

Lovely New Year Eve’s Boogie Bumpers Live Gala Music & Dance

We had yet another lovely NYE dinner and dance gala to Boogie Bumpers’ fantastic live music two years in a row now! Our highlight for wrapping up the year so far and hope there’ll be another one end of this year! Fantastic atmosphere to usher in the new year. Friendly helpful staff. Food great as always. Thank you!
