Hey, stop dissin' David's hardware. Haven't you ever heard of "shrinkage" ? (Seinfeld reference) Well, it's cold in Buffalo AND David is right next to Hoyt Lake!
For the highway?
This statue is placed oriented toward the highway with no real place to appreciate it. Great statue, replica of course, and if you are in the park go by.
It's a Replica. Pigeons like it.
Good replica of Michelangelo's David right here in Buffalo, near Delaware Park. You can see it when driving on Route 198, Scajaquada Expressway. The real statue is in Florence, Italy.
Oddly placed and why David?
Buffalo has plenty of interesting history so it's very odd to find a replica of the statue of David perched in one of the civic parks. You will likely drive by it at some point during a visit to the ...
