The old Sea Gate (Puerta del Mar) to the medieval quarter, of Islamic origin back on the 10th and 11th century. Modified by the time, impressive mainly by its age.
This is the only remaining original sea gate into the old medieval quarters from the 13th to 15th century. It's a small gate and there isn't much to see. Fine if you've got lots of time on hand in Cad...
It is the primitive Port of the Sea that was accessed to the port area, probably between the X-XI century so it is possible that it was originally dressed.
