From our accommodation, it was a quick drive. It is very close to the city. We parked the car and walked a few steps to reach the puddle. The water is clear and we swim very well. We like this place and the peaceful rain forest.
A huge waterfall. Just after the rainy season in autumn, the waterfalls here are very dense. After passing through a rainforest climate, you can come here to enjoy the waterfalls. The water flow is very abundant, and the sound can be heard from far away. The water quality Also very clear.
[Scenery] The natural scenery is very elegant
[Cost-effective] quite high
Crystal Falls not only has a series of beautiful waterfalls and lakes on the 1.2-kilometer trail, but also the pristine tropical rain forest, which can be described as a step by step. Shaped like its name, like a crystal string. Locals like to take their family here on weekends to swim in the summer. It is natural and lazy to experience the life of a real Australian.
Crystal Falls has a flowing, very clear river on a 1.2-kilometer-long path. Many local people are wearing swimsuits and swimming trunks sitting in the river water to escape the heat. Enjoy it! The tree-lined area here is a primitive tropical rain forest, and there are pheasants walking leisurely on the grass and looking for food. From time to time in the forest, there are various bird calls, and I feel happy walking on the road.
It is a tropical rain forest surrounded by mountains and waters. It can travel through the jungle along a narrow road to the largest waterfall group in the scenic area. The valley on the side of the road is composed of mountain waterfalls and other water sources into endless rapids and small lakes. People play here. The natural scenery is pleasant and quiet, and the air is fresh and cool. It is a good place for locals to escape the summer and relax. There are few Chinese tourists here, and it is not a regular tourist attraction for Chinese tour groups. Compared with the famous tourist attractions in China, it feels that its characteristics are not very prominent.
Taking a 10-year-old child to challenge the canyoning is definitely the most fun and meaningful activity on this trip in Cairns. I arrived at a stage in the canyon that was not open to the public to play various exciting abseiling, ziplining, and diving... After going through countless waterfalls and pools of all sizes, the child is braver than me, perhaps because such a primitive environment is too fresh for him. The coaches are very professional, and they also provide very professional clothing and equipment, dispelling safety concerns. It is a good challenge and exercise for the children and me. The company's name is raging thunder, and they also have rafting activities, but the children are too young and come back in two years.
