Beautiful beach
In February 2023 we visited Ceuta and spent some time on Playa de la Ribera. The beach was a short walk from the centre of Ceuta, which was beautiful with parks, fountains, plazas, museums, monuments...
Right next to the centre of town. A delightful spot.
On a weekday in September it was fairly quiet but at weekends it might well be crowded as it's not that expansive. All that you could wish for in a sandy if slightly gritty, beach though.
Lovely expanse of beach- but not that big and does get a little crowded in peak Summer. Bars and cafes. Watersports available. Safe swimming. Why do I call it a combo beach ?- well it was a strange ...
This beach has the best view, really nice soft sand and was clean. I sat in the sun for hours and looked the Moroccan coast line across the med. Great place will come again.
Good facility access- although the bar/cafe was incredibly busy, the drinks were great. Beach itself was not typical sandy beaches, more like tiny rocks, so make sure you bring sandals to walk across....
