Changshu Library was founded in 1915, and has nearly one million books, of which more than 200,000 ancient books, is the national civilized library and first-level library named and recognized by the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture, the Central Committee in the League, and the Press and Publication Administration. The library that readers like to name and commend the office of the National Knowledge Engineering Group, the AA-level credit advisory body that is named and recognized by the Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Department, the Bureau of Industry and Commerce, and the Association of Science and Technology are successive provincial civilized units. Changshu Library is one of the projects of the municipal committee and municipal government for private affairs.
