Great house for a day out. Definitely worth seeing the gardens as well. They are beautiful and very big, can easily spend a whole day here. There are also benches where you can have a picnic lunch. When I visited, there was a special exhibition on which features sculptures of dogs! Worth timing your visit with any special events if you can
It’s so beautiful, whether it’s the architecture, the collection, the gardens, or the history of the manor itself, it’s enough to be the highlight of this UK trip
