The top of the stele is engraved with "the will of the prime minister", and the four sides of the stele are engraved with 8 characters of "the journey of the road, the world is the public". On January 30, Commanders Deng and Liu presided over the unveiling ceremony. In 1943, Yu Zhongying served as the mayor of Chengdu. Due to the distortion of the original statue, Liu Kaiqu, a well-known sculptor, asked the well-known sculptor Liu Kaiqu to reshape the seated statue of Sun Yat-sen holding a scroll for people to admire.
