Mansion of Yin Changheng

From the Changheng Mansion, you can learn about the half-life of Changheng, the half-life of the horse, and become an important legendary symbol of Chengdu. The collection of literatures by Yuan Changheng makes up for a period of history in Chengdu's modern times, which is of great value to study the recent history of Chengdu and the social situation before and after the Xinhai Revolution, and also provides valuable information to scholars who study the Xinhai Revolution. In the Changheng Memorial Hall there is the Changheng Poetry and Inscription Exhibition.

The opening ceremony of the memorial hall of the former residence of the Yongchang Heng Zhai was held in Shengping Town, Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province on October 19, 2011, and the first-stage ceremony of the "Yongchang Heng Ji" was held. The former residence of the old Yongchang Heng Zhai Zhai covers an area of 0.8 mu. The rebuilt new ancestral residence covers an area of 36 mu, mainly including the Changheng Memorial Hall, the Communist and Cultural Square, Xinhai Gardens, and Memorial Group Sculptures, with a total investment of about 6 million yuan.

The Changheng Mansion introduced the "legendary Dudu" in Chengdu history. In 1911, Zhao Erfeng, the governor of Sichuan Province of the Qing Dynasty, attempted to plan the mutiny, and Changheng seized Zhao's military power and arrested him, and publicly beheaded him. His decisive measures won the support of all sectors of Sichuan and contributed to the social stability of Sichuan.

Xinhai Revolution Zhishi Yuan Changheng was born in Pengzhou, Yuan Changheng Mansion covers an area of 36 mu, is the patriotic education base in Chengdu, Chengdu cultural landmark. On May 26, 1953, Yuan Changheng died in Chongqing and was buried in Huangqidu Valley on the south bank of Chongqing. He died at the age of 69.
