A very beautiful and niche attraction, the waterfall is not the kind of special feeling of the atmosphere and the nature of the irreplaceable, but love a place worth visiting.
The waterfall is in the National Forest Park and in addition to the beautiful waterfalls, you can see the big original forest
Really fun and easy to get toThe waterfalls themselves were super fun, climbing up and down feeling like spider man. There''s lockers at the top where you can pay 20 bhat to leave all your stuff- then just go down in clothes you don''t mind getting soaked- as you will get wet, but all part of the fun. There is also a bus which you can get from Chang Phuak bus terminal (1km from the old town) that will drop you off 3km from the waterfalls which is an easy walk (just ask the information lady at the terminal which bus to head for) and then you can get the bus back to Chiang Mai from the same spot. It cost 80 bhat for my partner and I for one way- lots cheaper than the 1000+ bhat that many were paying for private taxi- especially if you''re budget conscious. The bus takes about 1.5 hours- hope this helps- enjoy!!
Qicai Waterfall is part of Maotai Forest Reserve, which covers most of the plants in the Forest Park, most of which are of high economic value. Small animals such as Siam Rabbits can be seen, which takes about an hour and a half from Chiang Mai.
It is well worth going, it feels like the negative ion bursting shed, the air is good, the waterfall is small, but the water quality is very good color, and the water is very clear.
As a small suburban attraction, no too many tourists flocked to her, keeping her quiet and natural. It is suitable for relaxing, vacationing, experiencing a calm life, so it is not too much to call it peach blossom source, but perhaps people used to noise, this is not suitable, traffic is not very convenient, need chartered car to go.
