The Chaing Mai National Museum's exhibits are divided over two floors. The first floor features historical relics and works of art from the Lanna period, as well as various cold weapons used during the 14th and 15th centuries. Particularly eye-catching is an enormous Buddha in bronze. The second floor mainly displays Thai folk handicrafts. The artifacts in the museum can be traced back to the prosperous Sukhothai, Lopburi and Ayutthaya periods, with its collections including many ancient Buddha statues, handicrafts and weapons from various periods.
