Wat Lok Moli is outside the north moat in Chiang Mai. It boasts long history and now becomes the center of the Buddhism education, folk art and culture. There will be a variety of festival activities every year. During the Loi Krathong Festival, all streets will be decorated with lanterns and streamers every night. Also, ornaments of Lanna look enchanting.
The Temple of Ramoli is very old, with a relatively complete stupa preserved behind the main hall. There are two white elephants on the side of the road, followed by golden leaves and silver coins on the leaves. The overall look is very tasteful. It is rumored that the 12 Buddha's relics were in 12 temples in northern Thailand, and the 12 temples were built in the 12 zodiac signs. The temple was built in the early 14th century. The Great Stupa has 12 small stupas that resemble 12 temples in northern Thailand. There are 12 zodiac signs next to the tower. Believers can worship according to their zodiac.
