    Beautiful!

    Love the history of this trail and the pretty scenery! So many cool stories along the trail with historic markers. A must see, gotta do!

    worth a photo stop

    There is a highway marker about the Santa Fe Trail crossing here. There really isn't any sign of the trail. It is worth a quick photo stop.

    What trail?

    The trail marker is a pull off on the west side of Hwy 325. There's some interesting information to read on the signs, but there's no sign (pun fully intended) of the trail anywhere. West of Dodge Cit...

    Not a lot to see except open space

    The branch of the Santa Fe Trail that crosses Cimarron County is an old remnant, of course, and grasses have overtaken the trail, erosion softened the ruts, so actually it's easier to see on Google Ea...
