"Beihai Park lies to the northwest of the Forbidden City. Beihai, Zhonghai, and Nanhai are collectively know as the Sanhai. Beihai Park was once an imperial garden. It is also the park with strongest flavor of old Beijing within the Imperial City walls. In the mornings, elderly locals exercise and take a walk with their caged birds; the afternoons and evenings are the best time to taking a rowing trip around the park. When visiting Beihai Park, you can admire the exquisite buildings left behind by the dynasty. You can also sit beside the lake chatting with with the seniors, listening to their stories about Beijing."

"The Beijing Garden Expo Park was the venue of the Ninth China International Garden Expo. It is located in the southwestern part of Fengtai District along the banks of the Yongding River Green Ecological Development. Starting from the Marco Polo Bridge, the park's varied terrain and distinctive landscape lie along the banks of the Yongding River with the newly transformed right bank of the Yongding to the east, Yingshan Forest Park to the west, and Meishikou Road and West Lianshi Road, respectively, to the south and north. The use of green landfills to seek ecological restoration and build gardens out of construction waste makes this city park more than just a cultural garden. In fact it is actually a monument to scientific education and ecological recreation."

"Jingshan Park is situated on the central axis of old Beijing. It was an imperial garden during the Ming and Qing dynasties. The park's central peak was once the highest point of the old city. The building at its summit, called the Wanchun Pavilion, is must-see for visitors to Jingshan Park. From here you can enjoy views of the whole of the center of Beijing, and photograph the whole of the Forbidden City. This is also where the last emperor of the Ming dynasty, the Chongzhen Emperor, committed suicide by hanging."

The waterside willows are beautiful, as is the scenery. Yuyuantan Park is the site of Beijing's famous Cherry Blossom Festival. The festival, held every year in March/April, is one of the hottest events in Beijing! The "Sakura Flower Show" held around the same time is also a famous event. The flowers bloom in the Spring. It's a unique experience for all visitors!"

The middle of the park is the green lake, surrounded by many willow trees, and the environment is gorgeous. In addition to the popular Taoran Pavilion, the park also constructed many pavilions with patterns of historical pavilions across the country. You can visit the national pavilions by walking through the park."

"Zhongshan Park is centered on the “social altar” used by the Emperor of the Ming and Qing Dynasties to worship. In addition to visiting historical buildings and understanding the ancient sacrificial culture, there are many green plants and flowers in the park. Every spring, roses, tulips and other flowers are in full bloom. In the autumn, there are golden ginkgo leaves, which are like heaven. In addition to the garden view, there is also a music hall in the park. There are often performances here, and you can feel the influence of music and art."
