The Queen Mother Culture and Art Park has an astonishing, historic exhibition of teak in the hall, and an annual conference or wedding, showing the early Thai culture, with a pavilion entirely made of wood and a pure wooden Buddha in the middle, which is stunning.
Mae Fah Luang art and Culture Park is an unique place. It is a beautiful garden with original Thai art situated far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The best way to get to the garden is to hire a tuc-tuc from Chiang Rai city centre. It shouldn't cost more than 150 Baht one way. The garden is very peaceful and it is really great place to relax.
Beautiful place that wasn't mentioned in our guidebooks. Luckily someone at the hotel suggested it to us. If you love art, history or architecture this place is for you. The Lanna architecture here was incredible and the gardens were very beautiful. We spent a few hours here just because we were taking so many photos!
Bucolic park featuring stunning landscaped gardens, museums & a traditional Lanna pavilion.I only visit the museum..
Mae Fah Luang Art and Cultural Park, located just west of central Chiang Rai, houses the finest collection of Lanna art and artifacts since 1977.
The Empress Dowager Culture and Art Park is located about 5 kilometers west of Qinglai, which is an art park built by the people of Chiang Rai to celebrate the Empress Dowager's birthday. It is very good inside. The traditional Taibei area has a wooden tower inside. It is very beautiful.
