A beautiful house, especially its roof is different from other houses, is made of many colored bricks, this building was built in the 1580s and is very old.
The customs building is not much different in shape and scale from the houses facing the street around it if not carefully distinguished, but it still looks particularly delicate if carefully viewed, with a statue in front.
The Ancienne Douane Old Customs Building, located at the southeast end of Marchant Street, is a well-preserved historical building of the late Middle Ages. There are beautiful fountains, pools and sculptures in front of the building. The roof tiles form a neat and rhythmic mosaic pattern, and the bell tower clock still keeps the time accurate. It's 15 minutes'walk from the railway station.
