Great view of the mountains & nice photo spot .I like to bring my binoculars to get even more of a view

Short drive thru some beautiful scenery, a few pull-offs to take photos! If you are driving in this direction, take advantage of the scenery!

Beautiful 6 mile stretch of the Foothills Parkway. Well paved. Roomy road and overlooks. Not too windy or busy. Great views!!
Beautiful drive in the fall.
You can drive up and look come back down and go back to Gatlinburg ,or go on over the mountain to Ashville or Maggie Valley or the Cataloochee to see Elk. Lots of choices.
Spectacular Views on the Foothills Parkway
We love arriving into the Gatlinburg area via Foothills Parkway... and we usually "end" our trips by leaving out the same way. Spectacular views!
