I drove from Wanaka to Omarama today & did Lindis Pass on the way. I stopped three times to take photos as it was so beautiful. I imagine it would be even nicer with a bit of snow on the mountains but...
Nice view
I won't say it is very special but the view is nice. you won't miss it if you drive between Queenstown and Christchurch. The drive is easy. We didn't stop in the middle but we saw some people do.
