Very good experience! First, they told us how the Inca civilization was cultivated using the position of the sun. Then show us some Incas's understanding of the Milky Way and the constellations. Finally, take us outside to see the stars with a telescope. The staff are very friendly and can answer any questions you have. One of the problems is that the names of the stars are all in English, and some of them are a bit strange to me because I am Chinese and only know Chinese names. Maybe next time you can add some Chinese names to the PPT.
Visitors are not big when passing by during the day. The planetarium is not big and there are many different attractions to visit together, it is still recommended for those who like astronomy.
We had to visit when we found out that Cusco had a planetarium. The planetarium was run by a family ( our guide was one of the brothers) and they had a lot of information about the Inca culture. Our favorite part is sitting inside the dome and listening to the explanations of stars and constellations. Unfortunately the night we went was cloudy and we didn't see any stars through the telescope but we still had a really enjoyable time and would recommend a visit. It was really helpful that you will see the staff in a square in Cusco and then take the bus to the planetarium and finally back into town again.
The astronomical calendar of the Inca civilization is also very high.
