Yungang Forest Park

The park is large in scale. It is newly repaired after the expansion of Yungang Grottoes Scenic Area. The entire grottoes are wrapped in it. Tourists need to walk far from the gate to the core area. The vegetation in the park is lush and there are many Buddhist buildings.

The big park outside Yungang Grottoes is very large and majestic, and they are all newly built. The excavation of Yungang Grottoes has been carried out from the beginning of Wencheng Emperor Heping in Northern Wei (460 years) to the five-year period (524 years) of Xiaoming Emperor Zhengguang, more than 60 years before and after. Although the cave temples have been repeatedly damaged, but the grotto parts have not been greatly damaged, so after more than 1,500 years, Yungang Grottoes can be roughly fully displayed in front of us, it is undoubtedly selected for the World Heritage List.
