The ruin house is still under renovation. I visited the ruin house before it was renovated. It was a jade merchant's house. At that time, there was a good rest area at the entrance of the ruin house. Visitors drank tea and coffee for free. I hope this intimate measure can be sustained in the future. Quite a small exhibition/museum that helps to gain insight into the traditional lifestyle of Dubai. It took 20 minutes to see everything and wouldn’t recommend coming here specifically, but if you’re near the spices or gold market and it’s around the corner, then it’s worth a visit as it’s free.
