The Otago Peninsula is the most beautiful place in Dunedin. There is a long road along the coastline. Driving on this road is really refreshing. There are both beautiful bays and very beautiful forests here. It is really a pleasant and romantic place.

Otago Peninsula, I think is the most beautiful scenery in Danidin, is the most beautiful natural scenery in the area. Stop and stop here, really can forget a lot of work troubles.
Otago Peninsula is a very beautiful seaside attraction in Dunedin, it is very empty and original, with beautiful coastline. It is really very comfortable to take a walk or drive and enjoy the beauty of the seaside.
In fact, the whole Danetin can be seen as a U-shaped: U on the left is on the South Island, what signal mountain, Baldwin Street is here, industrial heavy; On the right is the Otago Peninsula, where beaches, cliffs, pastorals, castles, wildlife, etc. are abundant. The base of U is the center of Daniding. There are albatross center, penguin world, castle, Feisha beach, among which Feisha beach is recommended, we saw wild yellow-eyed penguins, sea lion seals and so on. In addition, there are two roads on the peninsula, one is a coastal road, one is a walk by the sea, there is no guardrail, driving is very exciting; the other is a mountain road, the road is narrow, some sections of the road on the cliff side, the road even the middle line; but the scenery is very good, don't miss them.
Very recommended if the weather is good. The peninsula side is a warm and calm bay area, the road is coastal and repaired, the road is narrow, twisty, and the scenery is pleasant. It is said that there is an albatross center at the end of the road, need to buy tickets. We enjoyed the view of the bay and drove all the way over the island to sandflybay. The mountain climbing road is not very easy and needs to be carefully driven. When we rushed down the next great slope, we were all amazed at the view of the bay. 5 minutes walk from the parking spot to the observation deck, but it takes 40 minutes to walk to the beach, you can see up close the beach sun-bathing sea lions. About two-thirds of the hike is fine white sand, to the beach to the next slope, when you go not feel steep, come back to find the climb is very strenuous. There was time to visit the castle on the island, some people chose to stay in the castle but had to book in advance, we did not book one month in advance.
To visit the albatross center, we drove early in the morning, driving along the sea was a bit foggy, adding to the curiosity of the island, although visiting the albatross center did not see albatross very close, just seeing the albatross flying from a distance, a little disappointed, But on the return trip the fog was gone and the views along the coast were amazing and the bus stops one by one were beautifully painted and lovely! This place is really worth visiting!
