Three dangers sanctuary

Sanwei Mountain has been an important religious worship resort in Dunhuang since ancient times. Exit the southeast of Dunhuang City, walk left at the track 3 kilometers away from Mogao Grottoes, and then2.5 kilometers to the bottom of Sanwei Mountain. A steep bend of 350 meters across the mountain, and a 3-kilometer walk over the mountain to the "three dangerous holy land". The scenic spots 6 kilometers east-west are Shanmen Archway, Wangmu Palace, Guanyin Well, Amitabha Buddha Hall, Guanyin Hall, Dragon King Temple, Ping An Temple, Sakyamuni Buddha, The temples and palaces such as Laojun Temple are viewed. There are also Lezun Hall and various inscriptions and statues on the far mountain. Very special scenery, worth seeing.

This is a scenic spot not far from Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes, dotted with some people's cultural landscapes in a unique sense of desertification and vicissitudes in the west. Especially one of the wells, in this very serious sanding place, the water flow is constantly flowing all year round, which is amazing.

Just opposite the Mogao Grottoes, the terrain is steep, and you can see the panoramic view of the Mogao Grottoes when you climb the Sanwei Mountain.

Sanwei Mountain is also known as the ancient monument Yushan, Shenyu Mountain, from Dunhuang Oasis, hidden three peaks, such as dangerous, and the name of the three dangerous. Sanwei Mountain is a sacred mountain, which contains the world's cultural and artistic treasures Mogao Grottoes. The local people worship it as a sacred mountain. They have built many ancient buildings such as Yusi coffins, Wangmu Palace, Guanyin Well, Laojun Hall, Nantianmen and so on. The Dunhuang Sun Tourism Group and Rongjian An Company built a tourist scenic spot "three dangerous holy environment", and built a number of attractions such as China's second largest bronze Buddha, Lezuntang, Shanmen Guanyin Palace, Wangmu Palace, Dragon King Temple, Dacheng Palace and other high-rise attractions. It is known by the famous artist Pingshan Yufu as the "Holy Land of Buddha".
