A nice place to enjoy an afternoon stroll through the woods!
The flowers and animal life were abound as Asbury Woods during our last visit in late August. So beautiful here. This is the kind of place I enjoy visiting to relax and enjoy the ambiance of nature.
While homes and businesses are just a few minutes away, you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere at this park. It was so quite and peaceful. The trails we walked weren't difficult, fairly flat...
I was there many years ago and recall it was a nice experience. The trails were just the right distance and laid out in such a way that allowed an unhurried appreciation of the environment.
I took 3 children on the hike. Nice grandfather tree and swamp. The pond was green and really gooey.. LOL. Had fun with the self- guided tour information as well.
For a change of pace, we stopped at the Andrew J. Conner Nature Center in Asbury Woods. What a peaceful and quiet nature preserve. We picked up a trail map and proceeded to a trail behind the Nature...
