The memorial hall (church) is to commemorate the 1942 assassination of the Nazi Czech Governor and SS II figure Heydrich sacrifice Czech paratroopers. After successfully assassinating Heydrich on May 27, the Germans surrounded the church where the paratroopers were hiding on June 18 because of traitors. Seven paratroopers held the church for 14 hours. Behind the wall, in the prayer room and in the confessional, they fought hard and died, and finally died. Today we can still see the bullet marks on the wall, so that every tourist can feel the cruelty of the battle, full of awe of the hero.
