Komtar Tower is a landmark building in Penang. It is a 65-storey building rising from the ground. It is a civic complex of five buildings within the central business district of George Town, Penang. It opened on 2 December 1976. At the time of its completion in 1985, the central skyscraper of the complex, Komtar Tower, at 231.7 metres . Renovations in 2015 extended the height of Komtar Tower to 249 metres.
The downstairs is the shopping mall in Penang, and the upstairs is the office area. Every bus will pass here to reach Komtar station.
