Komtar is a famous landmark building in George City, Penang, Malaysia. It is named after "**Penang**" and "**Everbright**" (**Kompleks Tun Abdul Razak**), and is one of the main commercial and administrative centers in Penang. The design of the building is a combination of commercial, retail, office and government uses. It was originally built in 1974 and completed in 1986, with a height of about 249 meters. With 65 floors, it was one of the tallest buildings in Southeast Asia at the time. In recent years, Komtar has undergone several renovations and renovations, including the addition of a glass corridor (The Rainbow Skywalk), where visitors can overlook the beautiful scenery of George City at high altitude.
