A small food street in Hakodate, there is a good business in a ramen restaurant outside. There are grilled kebab shops in it, but the store is very small, just a dozen locations. Every store has to queue, it is also troublesome, it is still raining on the same day, it will probably go after a shopping. Don't come here for dinner, the queue is too long.
There are a lot of delicious restaurants on the gate Yokocho, and most of them are small restaurants. But the choice is very rich, and the price is quite affordable, I really like to eat sashimi and other Japanese food here
It is a small street that is very worth coming to punch in. There are many small food shops in it, and they are not neat. All kinds of Japanese food are available here.
However, the shops are all small shops, and there can be a few people in them. I originally planned to eat skewers, but many shops are full and it is raining, so I really don’t have the mood to wait any longer.
The whole street is full of restaurants, but the food is actually sashimi, grilled food, ramen, and wine! This shop is in this street. I forgot its name. I ate it twice in a row. The food is fresh and the amount is OK. The rice is delicious! The price is kind. When the proprietress was young, she should be a big beauty, she looked a bit elegant.
Daimon Yokocho is located south of Hakodate JR Station, about a 10-minute walk away. There are about 20-30 small shops inside. You can find ramen shops, rotisserie restaurants, izakayas and dessert houses here. Many locals will come here to enjoy their food. We found this "Dragon Phoenix" ramen shop at the north gate of Yokocho, the main gate. The owner is a 70-year-old grandfather who runs the shop with his son. His specialty is Hakodate Shio Ramen.
