Hakodate City Museum

The Municipal Hakodate Museum preserves the historical materials of Hakodate from the Jomon period, that is, the late Japanese Stone Age to modern times, including records such as Perry's Landing and the Hakodate Fire. By displaying many historical objects, picture albums, photos and specimens, it is convenient for people to come into contact with the history of Hakodate more intuitively. It is worth mentioning that the museum restores Hakodate's past family life scenes and reproduces the average living standard of Hakodate at that time.
