Changqing Park

Changqing Park covers an area of 2.2 hectares. In 1983, the Changqing Park was built with the main view of the memorial tower. The "Northeast Anti-Japanese and Patriot Self-Defense War Martyrs Memorial Tower" was the foundation laying ceremony on July 7, 1947, and was completed on October 10, 1948. The tower covers an area of 417 square meters. The tower is 30 meters high and is the earliest martyr memorial tower built after the liberation of Harbin. In 1983, while the city of Harbin was renovated and rebuilt in the 8th District Stadium, the memorial tower was the main scene and the Changqing Park was built. It is now an important place for patriotism and revolutionary traditional education. The renovated Changqing Park is transparent, open, solemn, stylish, green, distinctive theme, facilities, overall layout and harmony, greening and re-layering effect is remarkable, which makes people pleasing to the eye and refreshing. It shows the style of urban modern park and is another monument in the history of urban construction in Daowai District.
