The Helsinki Olympic Tower is one of the landmark buildings in Helsinki, the capital of Finland, and is located in the Olympic Stadium. Its architectural style is very Finnish, and the simple and smooth lines complement the overall functional design of the stadium, showing the unique simplicity and practicality of Nordic architecture. The Olympic Tower has extraordinary historical significance. At first, it was built for the 1940 Summer Olympics, but due to the outbreak of World War II, the Olympics were cancelled and it failed to play a role in time. It was not until the 15th Summer Olympics was held in Helsinki in 1952 that the Olympic Tower ushered in its highlight moment. During the war, the Olympic Tower also shouldered an important task and played an important military role as an observation station of the Helsinki Air Defense Protection Center. Today, the Olympic Tower is open to the public. Visitors can take the elevator and climb a few stairs to the top of the tower. On the viewing platform, you can see the magnificent panoramic view of Helsinki. Whether you are a sports enthusiast or a tourist, you can feel the strong Olympic atmosphere here and appreciate the unique charm of Helsinki.

Show More ReviewsI went there alone in the evening on a rainy day. The wind was strong and the camera lens was full of water. Helsinki was in the dark clouds, which was very depressing but beautiful. It is a good place to overlook the whole city.
