    Great beach!

    Not overcrowded, clean with good facilities. There were lifeguards on duty with gear. Be aware that it’s windy, and the surf is rough. We loved it! Our son is 8 and we brought a vest for flotation for...

    Beautiful and clean

    Lots of room to enjoy. Not sure about lifeguards as if someone was in trouble they have no boats, rafts, preservers to help someone.

    Quiet in the off season

    No lifeguards in the off season as expected but it was quiet and tucked away. Easy parking, clean restrooms but ever so windy as the Outer Banks can sometime be.

    Beautiful wild beach

    We rode our bicycles from the village to this beach. There are nice rest rooms there and a good observation deck.
