Original Text
The entrance to Goshoin is located on a narrow road between Isahaya Gymnasium and Isahaya City Art History Museum. Since it is located on the premises of Isahaya High School, the opening hours are limited. Basically, it is from 10:00 to 16:00, which varies depending on the season and the day of the week. It is the residence and garden site of the Lord Isahaya. The surrounding area is a walking path.
As a Momoyama-style pond spring strolling garden, it is built around Shinji Pond, and the Taiko Bridge and Tsukimi lanterns are gardens reminiscent of the old days, behind Isahaya High School, and you can go through the main gate of high school. It is recommended to enter from the Isahaya Museum of Art officially.
I don't remember it clearly because it was about 40 years ago, but when I first saw it, I was a little impressed. I feel like there was a bridge here. It's in Isahaya High School, but it seems to be open to the public. I'm still interested in the same, but I don't have a chance to go. I would definitely like to visit again if I have the opportunity.
