Not to be missed
At sunrise or sunset it is a mesmerising experience. To travel with Chris Gimblet to and from Mount Slowcombe from the Yaraka Hotel was a highlight of our northern adventure.
The pub and publicans were the most welcoming of all my time - they treat everyone as a friend. Fantastic $5/night camping. V clean and adequate showers and toilets.

Chris the publican took us to watch a stunning sunset. The view from the top of the mountain was awesome. Sealed road all the way up. Highly recommended

Yaraka is one of the friendliest towns rarely visited by travelers. It was the end of the rail line but that is all gone now. There is only a Pub and a sort of store, but dont rely on the store. The P...
