I was already in a long line when I bought this ticket, hopped out of it and walked right through ticket checking in seconds! Definitely a must see and one of the highlights of my trip!
You can buy tickets through Ctrip without queuing up, and go directly through another channel. The scenery is quite fantastic if you have never been there, with underground palaces, pillars, water, and lighting effects. However, the overall scenery is relatively simple and all are similar.
Please buy tickets in the website unless you wanted to wait an hour lining up outside the entrance. We waited less than 10mins. The place itself is turned into a museum with art pieces.
The underground palace of the Eastern Roman Empire is actually a sewer, or a big puddle, but the magnificent, the style of the Roman Empire is displayed incisively, but the problem is that the 220 yuan ticket is really too expensive. Normally, the ticket price should not exceed 100 yuan, so overall, this price is a bit low.
Very mystical place 😯 It's amazing how it was build and the small details like the head of Gorgona Medusa 😱 Defenetly hidden gem in Istanbul.
Amazing to see how the ancient Byzantine people built a place to store large amount of water underneath the city itself. A must visit place when you are in Istanbul
