Located near the Galata Tower, spanning the Golden Horn, this bridge connects the new and old parts of the city.

It is under repair and only the second floor is accessible. You can scan the QR code on your mobile phone to listen to the explanation. It was an Orthodox church in the Byzantine period, converted into a mosque during the Ottoman Empire, and is now a museum. Its magnificent dome is world-famous and is a world cultural heritage!
This is a world's first in Istanbul that is more famous than the Blue Mosque. Originally, our itinerary did not include it because its first floor was under repair, but a little fairy in the group insisted on visiting, so we decided to buy tickets on Ctrip on the spot. Then we saw this world's unique and first magnificent Byzantine building. The space is wide under the huge dome, and it is still supported by four large pillars, which is shocking.
It is well worth a visit and is one of the most important attractions in Istanbul. It is located in the city center and the Blue Mosque is also nearby. It is recommended to learn about the historical changes of this church before visiting, so that it will be more interesting to visit various places.
been there many years ago, unrealistic atmosphere and beautiful architecturewould love to visit again recommend to do some historical research about this place before visiting
I visited here many times. The wonderful atmosphere was overwhelming. This place should be visited in combination with the Blue Mosque.

I recommend you better visit and enjoy baklava there. there’s different kind of food you may enjoy but don’t forget to walk around the city old bazar, boat trip. I wish to visit again and again once in a year but I’m unable to afford. if you want in details just hit me up on my IG: sldn_h
I had the incredible opportunity to visit Hagia Sophia before it was turned back into a mosque. This architectural marvel truly stands as a testament to the rich history and cultural fusion of Istanbul. The sheer grandeur of the structure left me in awe. From the magnificent domes to the intricate mosaics, every detail showcases the impressive Byzantine architecture. The blend of Christian and Islamic elements creates a unique and fascinating atmosphere that is both serene and awe-inspiring.
