In August 2023, I went to the exhibition of the Ancient Egyptian Museum of Art, "The door of the 3000-year history of Ancient Egypt is now open." I was able to take pictures, so I took mummies and pottery. It was an art exhibition that I wanted to visit someday in Egypt, where culture was open for a long time than Japan.

Henry Moore's work was waiting at the entrance. Since it is a big deal, I will pay the entrance fee including the special exhibition. I was able to see the masterpieces of the local artist. The number of exhibits is neither large nor small, and you won't get tired even if you appreciate it. It's a good museum.

The Municipal Museum of Art in Iwaki City. I had some time in Iwaki City, so I only visited the permanent exhibition. There seems to be various collections on the homepage, but on the day of the tour in early December, a special exhibition was on the 2nd floor, and the permanent exhibition was only a few avant-garde sculptures on the 1st floor. There was no exhibition of local writers, there was no exhibition of famous writers, and the amount and quality of the exhibition were poor. I thought it would be better to open it to the citizens for free in the current exhibition ...
