Jiulong Bridge

Jiulong Bridge outside the east gate of Jingzhou Ancient City, 98 meters long and15.7 meters wide, such as mosquito dragon water across the moat, calm. Jiulong Bridge is composed of 9 semicircular stone arches, which are joint arch stone bridges. There is a stone faucet in the middle of each stone arch, and the ripples spit out of the dragon mouth and flow into the moat. Each tap ears high up, eyes, the dragon mouth spit out of the water curtain in the sun refracted, weaved into a beautiful rainbow, foggy, people feel as if in a fairyland.

Jiulong Bridge is located at the east gate of Jingzhou Ancient City. It is an arch bridge that can be used by vehicles and pedestrians. It is surrounded by scenic waters of the ancient city on both sides. There are nine faucets on each side of the bridge. Water can be sprayed at night and cooperate with colorful lights to create a magical effect and attract people to stop. Jingzhou ancient city at night and day to see are two completely different feelings, day is a heavy sense of history, night is a modern gorgeous feeling.

You can see it when you enter the ancient city of Jingzhou. The bridge linking Dongchengmen during the day does not look particularly eye-catching, but at night, the whole neon light is colorful and the water under the bridge looks very beautiful and black.

Jiulong Bridge in Jingzhou is located outside the new east gate, which is between the public security gate and the old east gate. Historically, due to floods, the suspension bridge outside the two gates was washed away. For the convenience of maintenance, a suspension bridge was chosen to be built in the middle of the two gates, just now the location of the Kowloon Bridge. By the Republic of China, the function of the city wall and the moat of the enemy has been greatly weakened, and the suspension bridge has been changed to a wooden bridge, because it was designed for nine holes at that time, so it is called the nine-hole bridge.
