Hulu Shiyuan の North East の End

    Original Text

It is an observatory along No. 1060 of the gravel road that crosses Kushiro Marsh. It was about an hour's drive from Tancho Kushiro Airport. When I climbed the stairs to the hill (quite difficult), the vast marsh landscape spread out. If you are lucky, you can see the cranes in spring. From there, if you drive for about 10 minutes (this time it's a dead end), there is a waterside called Sugawara, and it seems that canoes and so on come.

North side の Shiyuan を Looking out

    Original Text

There is a hill overlooking the marsh on the north side. There are some vegetation that is a little different from the large marsh in the south, and there are few tourists, so it is a good spot for marsh lovers. In addition, since the 1060 line was closed due to construction, it was not possible to go to the Tang Road (East and West).

Kushiro Marsh recommended for those who are familiar

    Original Text

The marsh observatory that you should definitely visit if you have good legs. If you go from the Tang Road side, you can see it after going on the gravel road for about 10 minutes. You need to climb the steep stairs, but at the end of the climb, you can see the original scenery of the marsh. If you are lucky, you can see animals such as crane birds and deer deer from a distance. Actually, it is a popular spot for the first sunrise. Good things to have: binoculars

After autumn, the number of people decreases sharply, so it feels like a secret.

    Original Text

It seems that it is "the place where the water of the kotaro cherry blossom springs" in Ainu language. (That's right ...) It's located off the main road and not a place connecting major tourist spots, so I think it's a relatively little-known place. In particular, in eastern Hokkaido, active sightseeing (whale watching, trekking with tourist guides around hot springs and waterfalls, and sightseeing in marsh by canoeing and kayaking) ends in September or October. In November, the number of people decreased sharply because the number of roads closed began to increase ...

The scenery is good, but it is difficult to climb.

    Original Text

High heels are tough. You need to work hard to climb the slope behind the toilet from the parking lot for about 10 minutes. The spread of the scenery feels narrower than the view from the Hosooka Observatory from the scenery of the marsh we imagine. If you don't have time, the Hosooka Observatory would be better.
