We went for their historic festival over labor day weekend. There were a surprising number of people there. Enjoyable. Interesting. Glad I went once.

Day trip

We have not been to this part of the state before and decided to take a drive. It has some very nice old homes in the area. All of the "villages" are close together so you can see them all in one day....

Sadly, nothing was open the day we went (Monday). But we took one of their walking tour brochures and checked out all the cool historic buildings. Looks like a great place to visit when it's open ...
